Orthodontics is the movement of teeth with braces or removable appliances to position teeth correctly for esthetics and a proper bite.

Removable appliances are used with children and teenagers to expand bone and the jaws and re-position teeth.

Braces are used to correct crooked and malaligned teeth and roots for a proper bite and smile.

Invisilign type removable appliances move teeth and roots and require changing of the appliances every 1 to 3 weeks. This type of treatment will require more visits to the dental office.

Treatment time will vary depending on the individual patients orthodontic needs to correct the smile and can be 3 months to 30 months.
